Calculators

Here are 2 calculators for you. The first calculates Eastings and Northings given the angle from a reference "north" and the distance to the object of interest.
The second calculates the horizontal and vertical offset for a point on a vertical face given the distance of the Theodolite or EDM from that face and the horizontal and vertical angles.

You may download these files as a self-extracting .exe file by clicking here . When the file download window appears, choose "save to disk". When downloading is complete, find the file calcs.exe, move it to an appropriate directory and double click on it to extract the files. WAG1 is Eastings and Northings, WAG2 is Horizontal and Vertical offsets.

Documents

These documents don't download yet, they open up instead. For a quick fix, choose 'file save as' from the Windows menu and that should save it to your hard drive. Bear with me while I find a download solution.
