Back to Caughley in December to try to make sense of the dig earlier in the year. First dig is on December 4th, weather permitting. Digging continued through the new year and finished in April 2006. Another kiln base was found and confirmation obtained for other buildings. The site is closed and may not be revisited as most of the work has been done there, at least enough to characterise the saggar works.
