Work restarted in April with an excavation at the side of the field in Richards Hill.
This was useful to do because it showed what the natural looked like in a relatively quiet area
(geophysically speaking). A small geophysics survey at the end of the garden field showed more
black lines, could they be a contnuation of those we saw in Fir Tree Piece? (which is the field
next door).
A JCB was used to skim the surface in part of the copse revealing a stony surface. Further excavation
should reveal all.
